BIM, or Building Information Modeling is a working methodology and a way to aggregate, use and preserve information in a construction project from beginning to end, managing it throughout the planning, design, construction and operation processes to create a Digital Information Model.
A Digital Information Model is a set consisting of structured Information containing a 3D BIM model with its database as well as unstructured Information that includes documents, images, video clips, etc., all of which facilitate decision-making for all involved parties.
